I'm a lurker on here and am planning my first 911 purchase within the next year or two....searching and waiting for the right 996 Turbo.

I was out at Toys R us with the family last weekend and ran into this...... Power wheels 911 GT3....awesome!!! Thought I had to share.

Thanks! Honestly, there is so much information on here to read through I didn't need to ask any questions before I got through it.

My goal is to still get through the IMS thread! My first pick was a 996 C4S but am unsure if I want to take a risk with the IMS. I believe it is blown out of proportion (some would disagree) online. Therefore I want to save a bit extra for a turbo!

Sounds great thanks. Going to take my time and find the right one. I like the 997s too. What are your thoughts RE: IMS issues? I know the issues are extremely rare for 2007+ Model years.

 

996 turbo are still the bargain super car... but they're ageing fast. I'd go for a 997 instead personally. There's a nice red "S" for sale on the board currently, and I think it's a 997.2. Seems aggressively priced if so.

 

A friend and I both picked up black Power Wheels GT3 at Winners for $200 since they were clearing them out ! Mine is still in the box

 

I'm not going to stress the IMS thing.
To busy enjoying life.

I just had an upper control arm mount break on my 500,000km 4Runner.
Oh well, off to find a welder. Next...

Yeah well said. I don't have the highest budget in the world but 40-50k can get you a sweet 911.
