After some research it appears that the proper ratio can only be achieved by using 265/35/18 in the rear on narrow wheels with spacers OR stretching the heck out of them to fit them on the stock 11's.. Far from recommended I know, but I have found a few photos online of it being done on some euro and japanese "stance" cars, some that even see track time for drift events.

I would really like to keep the stock twists. They aren't perfect so I am not afraid to introduce them to salt this year.

Allso looking for a roof rack $$$

If the tires are still available and not needed, I will put them to good use. My brother has a '99C4 that wants to drive year around.

^the offset from 997 widebody to a 996 narrow body would be quite a lot. Wheel would stick out from the normal position about 14-16mm also with a 295 tire. Not sure it would even work whats the recommended tire 205f and 265r on that year?

I could make them fit on my 928 then. Remove the rear factory spacers and roll the quarters should do it.
