Default Anyone have some winter tires for a C4S kicking around?

Looking to throw some winters on my 2004 C4S. I have two brand new 225/40/18 SottoZero's for the front so looking for 295/35/18 for rear to match up or a set of 4. Would prefer to mount them directly onto the stock 8" and 11" turbo twists.

Anyone have winters kicking around since selling their car?

Thanks!

Should be running 265 outback on a narrower wheel.

+1 for 265 rear. I have a set of barely used 10 year old snows on solid 17" turbo twists available for $800.

Not sure if 17" can clear the bigger brakes on a C4S.

BTW: I've been running 295/35/18 rear snows on my C4S since 2006 with no problems whatsoever. The thing pulls through better than most SUVs!
Might be a bit different in Montreal though as there is more of the white stuff covering truly atrocious pavement! (Hey, I'm an ex-Montrealer, so I can criticize!).

The problem is that if your circumference ratio front to rear is off too much you'll wreck your luscious coupling.

I've been told 17's will fit. The 295/35 work I am using them. Though prefer 265 when it really has snow covered roads. 295's are a great Toronto tire, look good and for freezing temps provide better grip on dry roads.

That's why you run 235/40/18 fronts with the 295/35/18 rears....and my coupling luscious or not is just fine.

it is the outer circumference of the tire that matters only, not the width for your coupler (which is probably toast anyways by now).

Uh no. No damage to the coupler with these tires sizes since the rolling diameter front to rear is within 3%. Trust me on this Danny...I have very good intel on this from the mothership.

I was storing rims and snow tires for my wife's 2006 C4S cab at Pfaff a few years ago and we have since sold the car. I'm assuming they still have them . If they fit your car you can have them for free (again assuming they still have them which I imagine they do) let me know thanks

That's a mity proposal. I know what happens when dealers have wheels or tires in storage for a while though...they claim them and sell them..

If you don't mind checking with them that would be great. I could drive down and buy you a
