Your dad was one brave man to fly a wooden plane during the war.
I saw it last year (the only flying example left) at the Hamilton War Plane Museum
Hitlers nightmare. Did you know Hitler awarded 2 "kills" for every Mosquito downed because of their success?

Yup, that's the one but painted all black. He said he lost way more buddies in accidental crash landing fires than were ever shot down by Jerries.... and he gave up a cushy radar engineer assignment for this!
