It sure was quick, the Judge did all the talking for me (my trial statement was pretty fool proof). All I said in court was "yes" to the question "will you be telling The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing but the Truth, and that your trial statement is the truth."

My main evident was the report from Porsche Centre Vancouver. Witness was not required.

Wow, so he allowed in hearsay evidence. I have wondered about whether they would do that in SCC.

yup Jacobs.

when they backed the car out of the shop, it was puking oil on the ground.
"don't worry about it, it is the increase in crankcase pressure, it will go away. we are here for you, if there are any problems".
when i returned it, they told me to f-off. or give them another 12000 dollars. on top of the 19000. my choice.
the scratch was free. 1600 buck estimate to repair the damage properly.

Thanks for sharing OP. This shop is where I live, so good to know which are the ones to avoid.

Other people rave about how good both Jacob's and Performance One service/work. You cannot judge any organization based on one person's problem with them. Don't we all have bad days once in a while?

I don't think the issue is the bad day. All shops are going to make mistakes. These things happen. What I believe is more telling is how a customer is treated after that mistake is made. Forcing a customer to take you to small claims court and then have a court rule against you for that mistake is just bad business.

I'd rather work with a shop that makes a mistake but will work with me to correct it, than a shop that makes a mistake and forces me to take them to court. Businesses that do this do so because they are hoping the average consumer will not bother with court.

Good on OP for following through.
