You have to wonder where they got their "licence". Maybe out of a box of Cracker Jacks.

There is a reason why I do ALL my own maintenance.

You should see the hack job a highly recommended independent Porsche shop did on a friend's 993.

Got oil in the heat exchanger?

With the increase in Porsche popularity I am starting too see more and more places suddenly "specializing" in Pcars.

At my local Wal-Mart it's 13.49!! So 14$ at the dealer isn't bad.

Is CPP labour? I hate trying to figure out dealer invoices, they make them long and complex to charge you even more.

Why would I have oil in the heat exchanger?

Unfortunately "specializing" does not necessarily equate to "knowing what they are doing".

i drained it myself. both times. i caught it on the way home, both times.
the only reason i went back the second time was due to "warranty" requirements.
warranty?
The car leaked like a stuck pig. i spent 19000 dollars.
they told me to f off.
they threw in a nice scratch in my quarter panel. for free!
beware.
oh, i do have pics.
i should have taken them to court.
my wife has barely forgiven me for not doing so.

Congratulations; you sure got a quick adjudication on that.

Was it difficult to get an expert witness?
