Toronto taxicab damages Porsche
Hi,
Long time lurker here. I usually don't bother to register & post on internet fora, but I came across a post on Reddit and felt compelled to share it;

Basically, someone noticed a taxi backing into a Porsche a couple of times and was nice enough to take pictures and post them. I would hate this to happen to my vehicle, it should be common courtesy to at least leave a note with contact details if you damage someone else's property. Hope the owner will see this and recover damages.

I've actually witnessed cars backing up into other cars on a few occassions and when the offender just takes off I note down their license plate / time / date / etc...and leave a note on the victims car with my contact details to act as a witness. Not acceptable to hit and run.

in the reddit article a guy posted that he knows the owner of the car and would contact him.
Hey thanks Op. I know the owner of this car. I'll get in touch with him and send the photos.

Nice post.
However does it really mean there should be a human flesh search for the driver/cab company? Should this be done for a door ding? What if somebody bumped into the shopping cart corral at WallyMart and caused minor damage? Same outcome with pictures? What if it was the Porsche that was second to pull in and left the cab with no room to exit? We're living in a crazy world.
