Has anyone dealt with Jon Goldberg at Kimberfire or can recommend a reputable jeweller in the GTA?

Thanks

You have no idea what you are talking about the price of stones of the same size vary massively depending on the quality of a diamond.
Big and cheap diamonds never look good. And custom made jewellery takes time , this store doesn't order ready made settings from China they actually create the settings

You are exactly right. Its like saying a 500 hp civic has 4 wheels and a steering wheel so why does the new GT3RS costs so much

Default OT - Lookig for a reputable jeweller in Toronto

Thank you all for the suggestions.

Went to both Mark Lash locations, no sample really caught my eye.

Thanks to Pags993, I spent a few hours with Leanne Crawford today and leaning towards the custom route.

@Muskoka, called Corona but they said appointment only and asked who referred me.

Will check out Penwarden tomorrow and as many of the others before I leave town

Try Les Serak at Yonge and Queen (he is in the phonebook) he is South African so he studied for years and then apprenticed for years before becoming a jeweller. He is gets diamond for wholesale and makes custom. Considered to be one of the best at his art and a great family man. Drives a BMW but don't hold that against him. You can say Danny sent you.

All wrong boys. Based on the cut clarity and colour they advertised on their website my numbers are correct.

I would be interested in seeing a 15k - 1 carat diamond.

No. But I'm not stupid either. They advertise the cut, clarity, and carat and colour. From that you can get a relative value. It wont be 15k out.

That was me. I visited her web site just out of curiosity and liked some of her designs, so I decided to stop by with the missus to have a look and we ended up getting something nice (please don't tell my own jeweller - he does excellent work, but creativity is not his strong suit). I gather you're Linda's husband? I sincerely tried to make a case for us gearheads while we were there - after all, if you weren't a Porschephile yourself, I would have never found out about her... so hopefully it will get us some leeway in pursuit of our own hobby and toys.

Cheers,
Doug

http://www.diamondregistry.com/1-car...mond-price.htm

Anything with an F color or higher, VVS1 or higher and very good cut or above is going to be in the $15K+ range. A 1.00 ct. D color, I.F. diamond goes for $27K US WHOLESALE.

Thanks again! Yes I'm her husband but I have nothing to do with her business or the industry at all.. I have a bunch of cars, motorcycles , 1 shifter kart , snowmobile and she just bought me a Polaris Ace 570 for my birthday ( already made a track around the the house and barn) so I have to say stuff with motors is no problem for her. She likes them and enjoys them too. Hopefully we can say hello in person sometime!
