Me, I just love cars, I have favorites, and I have reasons for driving what I drive. I don't judge others on their choice, if they have passion for their car, I have respect for them... NASCAR, drifting, drag racing, not really my choice, but good for you if you love them.
+997, 991, 987, etc.

No one is dissing PDK's a I think most commentators have said that's what they'd have if there were primarily doing city driving or looking for a ring time. That said we're not Luddites for preferring a more engaged driving experience, in fact I hope one day to get a GT4 - nothing ludditish about the tech in that car IMO!!

Darn left ski/mountain biking knee is acting up. Might need a 993 tip as back up. At least they're cheap!

I thought the engine in the GT4 is not in the smug position of the proper Porsche?

For driving experience I prefer a manual transmission... I also prefer a 6 point harness, full containment seat, nets, rollcage, helmet, adjustable brake bias, full HD video, Hoosiers, Hawk Blues/PFC, Castrol SRF, pit radio system, and a telemetry system.

I think I am going to retire to the back seat of generic Lincoln limo or similar... and drink bourbon manhattans in the back seat while I watch purist owners crawl up and down the DVP exerting their left leg and their freedom of automotive choice. Who am I kidding, I drive a Hyundai minivan filled with pizza flavored goldfish crumbs, rotting apple cores, kids, and empty juice boxes. You want to talk about engaged driving? Go nuts... I am jealous that you have the choice...
