Default Porscheless

The deal came out of nowhere. I was offered a fair price for my SC so I took it. I've had the car since 97 and pretty well replaced everything on it.
I've recently retired so I'm looking to get something more practical (with working A/C) for road trips.
I'll be honest with everyone I will miss the sound of that flat 6 engine.
I won't miss the puddles of oil in my garage

I agree, pretty soon he will be looking at the oil stain and having to hold back tears.

See middle of this thread regarding Corvette purchase.

Actually, I have to admit from C6 on, the Corvettes are really nice cars. Even the C5 models are pretty nice.

Congrats on the sale.

I own a C6 Z06 and it's a great car. Talk about great sounds!! Hubby just started it to go for a ride (couldn't help but smile as I sat in the office and felt a slight vibration in the seat of my pants that is coming from the garage!)

It's a great performance value, bulletproof, and economical to maintain and drive (highway driving = 30 mpg in 6th at 1750 rpm doing 80 mph)

Different cars bring different joy! Congrats on retiring and best wishes on your new chapter!
