It's a great performance value, bulletproof, and economical to maintain and drive (highway driving = 30 mpg in 6th at 1750 rpm doing 80 mph)

Different cars bring different joy! Congrats on retiring and best wishes on your new chapter!
Thanks

I'm sworn to secrecy, I can't say who but my friend in Whitby bought it.

So did you say a corvette is next for you?? There's a big group of vettes at sherway gardens close to gtg I think. When I worked at GM I knew a couple of guys in corvette club with nice rides.

Porscheless here as well, but likely not for long. As for the Vette, my C5 Z06 is one of the cars that I've owned that I really miss.

The C5 is a horrible looking car. Even the C6 sucks but the C6 wide body used on the Z06 is a lot better looking. I'd be looking into a C7, fairly well priced at 60k base and 460 hp/tq. Probably cheap lease, even good on gas and wow best looking vette since the stingrays.

Different strokes. I think C5 looks great and much better than the C7. The more I see the C7, the less I like it. It looks like a crazy ricer went to town on it.

Almost put a deposit on a C7 Z06 last year. So glad I didn't as it was non-refundable and now I just don't like the C7 at all.

Looks like a modern sports car, doesn't look American looks exotic.

I'd admit the C5 Z06 is probably the best bang for the buck car out there, even if I hate the 90's styling. On the bright side C4 is even worse looking.

I drove my brother-in-law's new C7 a few weeks ago and was really impressed. The interior is a huge step up and is now worthy of a car in that price range. Leather materials feel really nice to the touch, seats offer lots of support, and electronics are no longer the standard AC delco equipment.

Gobs of power at low RPMs, comfortable drive even on poor roads, and an awesome exhaust. There is a lot to like. I'm personally not a fan of the back-end, but I like the front. It doesn't have the visibility, road feel, or nimbleness of my 996 but it does put a huge grin on your face. And that power and exhaust...

My biggest disappointment with the C7 is that I don't fit in it... German cars at least are made for people with longer legs. Its weird when a 911 SC from the late 70s which is smaller than today's cayman has more driver room than a C7 corvette which is double the old 911's size.

It's fugly. Almost as bad as the GTR. C8 in 2020? Hopefully they can get a better exterior design. What do I know though. Chevy sells a ton of vettes. Porscheless too after 10 years of ownership. Really sucks!

It's always fun to ask an owner of a C7 if it's "the new mustang".

Sorry, I meant Camaro
