Looks that way. The interior looks like it was once wet! Either way, sad to see a car that awesome in that condition.

Not sure about wet, that whole shop is buried in dust, perhaps a body shop. also the rear bumper looks pushed in.

A dusty car doesnt earn you a $40k discount. There is something seriously wrong with the car, and he says it runs and has no body damage.

Flood cars can't ever be legally licensed for road use in Canada, so Im guessing that is what it is.

I messaged him anyway, just out of curiosity to see if Im right. So far, no response. Ill share whatever he says with the forum.

There is a phone number too, if anyone is local and feels like calling him.

It says no body damage, but the rear bumper looks damaged. It's in Calgary, so the flood theory makes sense.

LOL

Only problem is that the engine, transmission, etc will all have to be rebuilt if it is a FLOOD car. So, they are pretty much worth nothing.

And besides, I love my 997.1 manual !!! The only 997.2 updates I am considering is the front GT3 RS bumper, and maybe the steering wheel.

I dont really have any desire for a DFI engine. I'd much rather have Jake Raby build my 3.8 into a 4.0. That should be MORE than enough for me

It could use a quick detail..... if 'seller' is trying to separate 'buyer' from cash, why not break out the power washer and give it a quick once over?

Who would have thought that 2011 barn finds exist!

Impact damage dead center of the rear bumper below the Carrera logo.
Look at the speaker grille on the passenger door and you can see the water/mud line.
The passenger seat lumbar cushion shows similar mud discoloration.

But on the bright side, the top is probably okay.
