^I've been waiting for a reply to my email about that TT...anyone know the story behind it?
Price needs to drop a fair bit(and only then does the car have some value if running/ 'driveable', near worthless otherwise) , but I wouldn't mind giving it a new life...

Car appears to have had a drivers side impact with airbag deployment and there has been some attempt at a rebuild so you have to question 'why' the sudden stop work and sale of this car. The splattered dirt suggests a 'ditching'. It lists no info on the motor. The interior is filthy suggesting a theft recovery? Parked in a garage and left this way - but one picture shows a 'spare' rim sitting in the passenger seat leaving a mark and then other shots show this rim disappearing?? Alarm bells...
It's listed as, 'It is a project vehicle'. Yeah, a project that can not be plated is what I suspect as the VIN may have been flagged as 'Non-repairable'.
$18K is too much for a parts car unless its a CGT...
saw all those points from the pictures, but, the difference might be someone paying a shop vs. someone who can fix everything themselves... I love reviving 'left for dead' cars, but of course the structure has to be ok and without major title issues as you mentioned.
I'm interested around the $10k mark assuming its a runner and the structure is straight...would make it my new daily/winter beater...
