I Have just sold my 2004 Boxster. Original owner. It's a courtesy trade and I will be taking delivery of 2015 Boxster in june.
Have a question. Does anybody have this module installed? Would this devise possibly void new car warranty ?
Any info would be great. Thanks

If you ever have a problem with your roof with that installed, I wouldn't be the surprised if the dealership tries to deny your warranty.

 

I have it on my 991 c2. Easy install (and removal if needed) on the 991. Absolutely love it.

 

I was trying to figure out the same question yesterday for a CPO warranty on my 997.2. Probably best to remove it before taking car in for a warranty claim, unless dealer confirms it is not a problem. Anybody know a local Toronto spot that can sell and install the SmartTop for a couple 997 cabs? The smarttop website says Pfaff.

 

Sent email to Phaff tuning to see if they still sell and install. My salesman at Phaff Porsche suggested I wait until warranty period is over. I believe Europeans have control of comfort windows and top from key fob standard from the factory. My Mini does these tricks as standard. I don't get it!
