I loved the show, loved Clarkson and loved high school!! Maybe a bit too irreverant for the PC Canadian crowd!!

 

hold on until BBC says something, Top Gear is suspended not cancelled, Jeremy Clarkson was the person who reported to BBC the incident and the punch all the media is been saying start based on a rumor. Auto Evolution is the only website saying Top Gear is cancelled for good.

Just wait until BBC finishes its investigation and we will see.

 

After Gomeshi(sp?) and Brian Williams, it's time the Brits loses one.

I like the Fifth Gear better anyway, so it won't matter to me much if Runchy Clarkson is gone.

 

Clarkson's just stirrin it up. They'll be back......

 

+1. My favourite TV show especially when he comments on Mexican food and the like. Gotta love that irreverance. Leno's show is pretty good but I just can't watch 5th Gear or any of the other Top Gears. Can't beat the UK synergy. Hope they're back soon. 350 million viewers can't be wrong!

 

Well they could be wrong....isn't that how many people watch the Bachelor, the Kardashians or similar tripe every week

 

I love the show, it's an entertaining one. I don't watch it for their car reviews but rather for their idiotic funny stuff. 5th Gear is just another auto review show, no different than Motoring 2015 or any of the other 200 regular car shows.

 

I like 5th Gear more then any other automotive show... I think it's because the hosts can actually drive and know a thing or two about cars. TopGear was good when it actually used to review cars... now its a more of a comedy sketch...

I like cars, not goofs... IMHO, most car shows have something to be desired... probably because they are afraid to give opinion. Canadian car shows are the worst... if we listened to them we would all be driving beige Honda Civics. Ugh.

 

Far more entertaining than all those reality shows on Velocity.

 

Not sure I share all the dislikes of Clarkson. For me, I appreciate any/all the car-related shows I could cram into my weekend schedule to watch.

I have zero complaints and saddened that Top Gear is off the air...

 

You do realize that's about the population of the whole USA. The others ratings are comparatively miniscule. I'm not aware of any show that even comes close to TG UK. Hey, ya gotta love a car show that tests a MB SLS as a piece of junk and rates it even worse after AMG "fixes" it.

 

I've watched Top Gear since the beginning of the new format in 2002. While I think it is technically a car show, I watch it more for the comedy and the synergy of the hosts. There have been multiple attempts to reproduce the show with other hosts but none of them have really taken off.

My wife and young boys also watch the show and really enjoy it. If the cancel the show it will definitely be missed. Having said that it is getting a little old and they haven't really had any really unique shows in recent memory. I'd just like to see the race between the 918, P1, and LaFerrari.

great show. if you are relying on Top Gear for your indepth car knowledge you need to give your head a shake.There IS room for a show like Top Gear and their popularity only emphasises that point.
