Default Shipping a windshield from CA to Niagara Falls

Maybe a strange and unusual question but does anyone have a recommendation how to ship a windshield from California to Niagara Falls? with a reasonable expectation it will arrive intact? and of course for a reasonable price

The only way I think to ship sans damage is in a wooden crate or strapped to a pallet.

+1 and the crate will cost just as much.

Why not call Pedro at speedy Gonzales? Zook recommended him to me, top notch gent and excellent work. My 85 928 was $300 all in.

Thanks guys, it is not for the 911, it's for another car and they don't exist anymore, this one is a NOS from eons ago made by Sigla of Germany. I can of course fly there and then rent a car and drive it all the way back to Burlington but the cost will be prohibitive. I tried to find a trucker who goes there on business but so far no luck.

Maybe worth reaching out to TFX Transport as I am pretty sure they are in Cali regularly. At least you can be assured it will be handled correctly but it will come with a cost.

Try Uship, I had some parts in Florida picked up by a guy in Lancaster NY. He brought them up all wrapped in blankets and wasn't handled in freight terminals were it Will be broken. I picked up at his house. It worked out perfect.

How does the supplier / dealer ship regionally or do they only do local installs?

Hi Rob, yes, it is for the 90Q20V. Haven't installed it yet, looking for those small bulbs, 1.2 W and 2.0 W, would like to replace them all before I put it back in. If you have a source for these pls share.

Great car, my first car was the exact same model. I loved it, fantastic car for commuting between London and Toronto on weekends when I attended Western.
