I have taken apart MANY Audi engines and have NEVER seen corrosion in any of them. And Audi owners are the worst for coolant changes. Only when the water pump goes do they change it. That can be many years. It is the reason I use exclusively G13 in my 928.
gee i think me and my Audis just got profiled.

That G-12 stuff is pretty damn good. I always spring for the OE stuff and it has never let me down. the pink crystals are easy to spot if you have a leak.

Non scientific but real world findings:
Volks/Audi stuff is very picky to scaling...new to me B5 S4 needs a heater core, plugged solid....
Porsche's stuff is way better IMO...

I agree, but some cars seem to be more prone to hard water scaling issues then others...
