Breather cover.
Watch out for triangle of death... Breather cover / hose, Oil light pressure switch, and thermostat o-ring.
Those should be done if you have it out.
Also RMS seal if you have a clutch alignment tool is easy to get to. And Oil-cooler o-rings while you are there too I suppose... If you pull the oil cooler might as well get it pressure tested. We can test @ Response Engineering if you can't find someone.

i did my oil breather cover 5 years ago when i dd my CIS rebuild , and sure enough when i took the top end off it was leaking there again .. I guess about 5 years is all you can exoect out of the triangle of death .
Thanks for the contact for my oil cooler testing , i was wondering how i was going to get that done.

You can imagine my frustration as I had just done my breather cover and it only lasted 1 season... It turned out it had thermally warped... I suppose it's from all my hard driving since all I do is basically track this car now!

Niagara runs a great event. Last year they combined the black and red groups, so they ran with three run groups (instructed, solo and advanced). TONS of track time, especially for the advanced drivers.
You can't beat the experience of spending some time in the bar at the Seneca Lodge with Jonathan and Jonathon!
I'm signed up! Hopefully I make it through Sebring at the end of this month

Keep your eye out - Metro NY PCA and/or NNJR should have a date or 2 there. There's also GVC chapter of the BMW club - a great option if you're still looking for instruction.

I signed up this morning (clubregistration.net)!
Anybody else planning to attend this event? It would be great to find some others to drive down with, and maybe split some hotel costs (Seneca Lodge)!

Want to stay there for the rest of the week? I'll be there for the DE on the 27th-28th and then for the Club Race. Same deal as Calabogie
My car has been repaired, the suspension will be sent to Anze in NY to be analyzed and I'll have a set of new sway bars.
Should be a good race.

I'm ready - sort of... - I'm doing everything last minute as usual, but will be ready. I will be down Sunday night, and will meet up at the bar at Seneca for sure!

Jonathon

PCA Upper Canada had two IDS sessions scheduled for April.
Not sure of availability or if they are running.
Check the Upper Canada PCA site....
