As a follow-up from this: https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...e-concern.html , I thought I'd start to ask for recommendations for an engine mechanic should I get to the point of an engine teardown. I'm located in Brockville, Ontario, 40 minutes east of Kingston, 1 hr south of Ottawa. I have contact info for Yarko in Oshawa and Jason at 43 Autoworks in Kemptville. Any others? I'm completely gutted with this issue. It was the entire reason for buying the car based on the very recent complete engine rebuild in Calgary.

Definitely highly recommend Chris Kirby. He did two ppis for me and really cares for the cars. He is even better with air cooled. You won't be disappointed in his work or prices either.

Brian Madely is great too but you pay for it. Larry's auto in Brockville is also good for typical work and has great prices. But I'm guessing you don't want to use him for an engine teardown haha.
