I believe Ronan ordered blood orange.
Should be truly impressive!
Wonder if it's the classic blood orange Porsche used?

That is an exciting design. I hope it makes it to production. I give blood orange 3 thumbs up.

Porsche never disappointments when it comes to the GT3 RS's design ques, I expect nothing less with the 991 and it'll look even better then pre production leaked photos. Can't wait to see the real thing.

Yes to blood orange. I try to use traditional Porsche colours if I can get them.
No manual, no turbo, spec not yet officially available so I have a deposit down for some time now. Euro delivery for sure, hopefully summer 2015. The Nurburgring 24 is a month early this year so not sure if I can do what I did with the .2RS and pick it up, attend the race, and run for the week after. We shall see. At worst I will melt two trips, but for sure I will do Ring and Spa again....

The pics are basically production. There may be a little modification to the aero, but minor. Car will have a magnesium roof, aluminum/CF front end, titanium exhaust, still a lot of questions, but hopefully the 918 seats.

That trip sounds like a dream. Catching the 24 is a bonus!

I have bought quite a few cars that people didn't like…must be my strange taste in vehicles. I took a lot of heat over the M6 V10 aesthetics, scorn over the Smart, and variety of reactions to others. I think its great that different people have different takes on these cars.
Indeed, I prefer the appearance of the 997.1 RS to the later iterations , and the 993 RS to all of them but it was never legal here.

I'm biased Ronan but I think with the basic 991 shape it will be spectacular. I love the turbo body and scoops. The only part I am not sure of is the wing. A bit over the top visually but I'm sure very functional. I'll be very interested to find out how it drives when NOT on the track.

I'm sure it will be a beautiful car especially in orange. Magnesium roof 'eh. Does it come with a fire suppression system? Personally, I'd take a 997GT3R for the smaller size and 3rd pedal..............but then I could only rationalize having one!

Going to take a lot of looking at to get used to. The 991 Turbo body is on par with the Panamera, you either like it or hate it. I'd be all over a manual C7 Z06 over that.

I agree, a 991 narrow body.
