Just wondering about good service for my 86 911 in the London/Aylmer area, other than Porsche of London and RSP Motorsports? Need it lowered and an alignment one of these days. Just wondering about some other options in the area.

Also, where can I pick up Swepco 201 or 212 for my car?

Thanks!!

I'm in London, and took my car to Toronto for service. Furtmair in Kitchener is another option. I like the people at Porsche of London, but don't know about the depth of their experience re: modifications. If you're considering RSP, I suggest you do a search on RSP and RPP (their previous incarnation).

I live in Woodstock and have used Uli Furtmair in Kitchener quite extensively to work on my son's 1986 944 Turbo and my 2007 C4S. He has an extensive race background so he's well experienced in lowering and aligning cars.

Thanks you guys. RSP did a very expensive electrical job so I could certify, kinda got a bad vibe in the end, two meanings there!

Kitchener sounds good, kinda far for me though, I am south of Aylmer but I will keep it in mind, especially for big job's.

How about Swepco 201 or 212 for my trans. Any opinions on that?

Swepco can be hard to find. Someone found a regional rep in I think Kitchener - do a search here, if you want. But it's not available in stores. Many of us use Kendall instead. It's recommended over Swepco by a few people, and it's much more readily available. There's a shop 15 minutes from my house that stocks it. I've used both, as well as cheap Castrol stuff I used to flush it after I rebuilt my transmission, and honestly couldn't feel a difference between any of them, street or track.
