Default Is this logical?

Ordered parts from Pfaff 2 days ago. Called today to see they came in yetand they didn't, that's fine. Asked them to check the order as I have a feelng that a gasket was missed in the order and was told because the order is being processed, they can't check the order. So I asked them is there a way to see what was ordered for me and the answet was no and there is nothing can be done until the order arrives and they will call when that happens. Only after the order is here and the part is missing will then re order it and that will take another X akount of days.....that's it, nothing on the planet can be done! Im I am idiot thinking this is BS and the parts attendent is just too lazy? Thr person I talk to was very arrogant.

He's tugging your chain, AFAIK they can check the order/parts location at any time...there's a reason I use Brad @London Porsche, AWESOME service and very fair prices...
Cheers,

I found their whole parts buying system (in person sales) to be BS to begin with. I won't be back - I have choices. If I need a dealer - I'm close to Oakville. Pfaff drag their *** if you don't know the part number or the part number you have is now been changed - then you get the *sigh*. Then they disappear for awhile and come back and duck walk you out to the showroom counter where you might or might not get lucky with the receptionist as long as she not, A: speaking with her boyfriend on the phone or B: speaking and flirting with a 1%'ter and its just too much bother to smile and ask how you are as you just a lowly A hole buying an air filter or coolant. Asking why the parts counter guy can't have a debit machine or cash register is responded by an icy death ray stare (taking part of her job away) or they don't trust their parts guys to cash out people. I have no idea how/why they became a preferred Porsche dealership. If I win 649 this Sat - I'll make a point of driving by Pfaff in my 918 I bought from Oakville and give them the finger...

Because the order is being processed, he can't check to see what you ordered? That simply doesn't make sense.

I had similar negative experience with their parts guy. I don't understand how such person can be employed.

I didn't call Oakville because I didn't think of it and Pfaaf is 20 minutes from my work. Wait until.I show up to pick up the parts i my old TDI that has more holes than a swiss cheese and a yellow sticker on trunk that says "Porsche support vehicle". I'll park it infront of the service door and walk in like I'm king $hit!

You are getting put off.
I order stuff from Mark's in Ottawa, and have called on more than one occasion to check on an order and to add to existing orders. The guys there are great and I have never gotten the runaround. They have also brought stuff up from the US overnight for me.
