Just last night I took a Ferrari 360 home just to watch readiness and get it ready for an etest. Passed without issue.

Great to know... BTW how does one volunteer at EA for these overnight tests?

For anyone getting worried about passing Drive Clean, if you haven't reset your ECU or disconnected your battery then there's nothing to worry about as your system will already show ready - there's no prep for readiness in your case.

My issue was that by resetting my service reminder over winter I inadvertently cleared my emissions readiness.. Had I realized that happened, I would have just gone through the readiness steps mentioned earlier and taken it easy for the first 50km or so... that solved my issue and now I'm good for two years

Hey guys...

I tried e-testing my car yesterday after reseting the ECU having to replace the gas cap. Tested it a 7pm last night and it had 3 not ready statuses.

Drove 120 km last night thinking it needed a good reset and took it in for a safety and another e-test this afternoon. It had 2 Not Ready statuses.

Should I be doing the cycle on page 2 first thing tomorrow morning?

Secondary air is problematic in your car then. It should be one of the first ones to pass. Does your air pump for the converter works?

This morning I woke up and completed the following:

5 min idle
5-8 min drive at 50km/h
10-12 min drive at 100km/h
5 min idle

Went back to get it tested and two Not Ready's again:

Secondary Air
Evap System

WTF do I do now? Can anyone explain if I'm not doing the cycle test long enough or not properly?

Sad part is the buyer has already paid me...

EVAP will take its time as said above, SAI/secondary air should pass after a few cold starts

Looks like I cancelled my first attempt by going to fast. Seeing as I've searched and found nothing specifically pertaining to the 997 on Rennlist or 6speed I have created the DIY below:

When you start the car cold, can you hear the air pump? It comes in when the catalytic converter is cold and pumps air in it to get it to work better until the converter gets warm enough.

On my 2nd attempt today I stuck to the DIY I created above and the car passed with flying colors...no Not Ready statuses at all.

You must:
a) be cold
b) idle for 2 mins 15 seconds
c) drive under 3,000 rpms at 34-46km/h for 3 mins
d) drive under 3,000 rpms at 64-96km/h for 15 mins and do not go over 96 or you have to do it again (ask me how I know)
e) pull over after the 15 mins and idle in neutral

Worked like a charm.
