I'm usually good for 3-4 hours on track with 6th Gear, rain or shine.....the lunches look fantastic but I couldn't possibly eat all that stuff without either falling asleep or honking when I drive afterward
As stated, Apex has different format with run groups but I don't mind--it's a different mindset i.e. get out there right away, heat up the tires and go!
Both have great people--I see many of the same people at both (lots from this forum).
I've also done Engineered Automotive and Sieya days, but if you missed their early sign-up incentive you vill PAY! Same with 6th Gear.....
All this track talk is warming me up--it's so cold out I feel like a f***ing popsicle!
There is a common theme that people have identified with Apex and Sixth Gear. Both have great clients that make the day comfortable, fast and safe. The rules are clear and adhered to because of respectful drivers ( Pro, Am and enthusiasts )
The space on track leaves you alone lap after lap and then in a blink a very fast car is right there waiting patiently for a passing zone. I've never felt any pressure to go too fast or been stuck in a frustrating train due to a slow ( possibly too proud ) driver as I have in 'club events'
I'm never going to be able to watch the weather in order to book with my fav's ever again after this thread...
