Default OT: Where do you buy your cigars?

My humidor is empty and I need to start stocking up for the Chapters Sat morning GTG's. I've searched some online sites but none of the prices seem to be any better than going into the local smoke shop. I found an online retailer from kingston called cigarchief.com but you had to buy them by the box.

I guess i could just take a weeks vacation down south and bring some back but that would be last resort. So like the title says, where do you buy your cigars?

Default Cigars

Check out Thompson cigars out of Tampa bay. When on vacation they can ship to you anywhere in USA.

Located in Hong Kong, I've ordered 3 times and so far so good with not being hit up with duty/tax. Shipping is pretty quick, has a tracking number and arrives in a discrete box.

For anything else I just stock up when at the duty free in the USA. I've stopped asking for friends/family to bring me back Cigars from Cuban vacations. Prices seem to have skyrocketed and there is a ton of fakes on the market, even at the airport. I've been hosed a few times...

Ship to relative. go for vacation. Bring back your legal limit amount (50 at a time per person).

I must have ordered 10 boxes from cigarsofhabanos.com. It's shipped from Hongkong. Cigars are legit and very well conserved.

They declared the cigars as "humidors" or fine chocolate. I never paid customs. Last cigars I bought from them was 2 months ago... Last box I bought was Bolivar Coronas Junior for 120$, shipped.

Oh and cigar boxes arrived vacuum sealed.

Maybe I'm just lucky?

Casa Del Humidor in Rama. They prices are 40-50% less than any other places. Thompson Cigars and any other US companies sell only Dominican,Nicaraguan etc cigars not Cuban.

Here is a local option that I discovered a few years ago...these are cuban leafs rolled locally in Downtown Toronto. I have all but given up on Cuban imports because these cigars are so good and the place is a 15 minute walk from my place. My humidor has never been empty since!
