I'm considering ordering the roof rack and ski rack from suncoast for my 987.1 CS. Anyone ordered from them? Am I gonna get killed on duty and shipping?

not sure about the shipping part, but every time I visit there, they are always very friendly and helpful-good to deal with.
Cheers,

Suncoast normally ships via UPS, so you'd get dinged with their handling fees over and above duties. I've bought stuff from them over the years, but I always get the stuff shipped to Buffalo rather than directly up here.

USPS is another way to avoid the rip off UPS brokerage charges.
I just had a large box 36" long from Pelican via post.

Richmond Hill to NF is 90 Minutes ... order and have it shipped to there . There are tonnes of places that will hold it for you for a minimal charge. Go down on a Sat or something . pick it up and mkae a day out of it at NF or the Walden Galleria. I do it all the time . Its not a bad day out and get my stuff at the same time ..

Good Job. UPS is the worst company in the world. Worst customer service in every country they operate.

Get it shipped USPS to your door. No rip-off brokerage. No drive to pick-up. Sometimes no HST.

Suncoast will not ship USPS from the last time I spoke with them. I wanted to purchase their floor mats.....but the shipping and brokerage fee would have made the purchase cost 3x expensive.

Is DHL free of brokerage fees?

You don't have to deal with or pay brokerage if you get it shipped to a US postbox address that you can get from:

http://www.cbiusa.com/
http://www.usaddressinc.com/
http://shippingtobuffalo.com/

Drive down and pick it up, easy peesy lemon squeezzzy

If they won't ship USPS, I won't deal with them. Sonnen will do USPS.

What purpose do customs brokers even serve? Seems like a complete racquet. I travel to my US HQ often and usually ship there (typically for free or lose to it).
