Default CEL codes - Update

got a P0301, P0303, P0305, P0306 misfire codes for cylinders 1, 3, 5 and 6 respectively

Very little power to get it home. Will need to now head to the 997 board to figure it out and see whether I can drive it to GTek or need to flatbed

Most of the coils were cracked and/or rusty so am replacing all of them. Doing the plugs at the same time as they are about 5 years old

Work being done at G-Tek

That's my guess. My indy said a my last tech inspection that one was rusting and would need to be replaced at some point. Not sure why it would effect all 4 cylinders at the same time though

Its in limp mode so prob need to tow it in

That seems early.
Mine were all done at 95k

Mind you I do get misfires when I start the car just to move it but have never had performance issues because of it.
The cel only happened on start up.

I drive it all year so it gets a bit more "weather" than the guys who store theirs. I know one of the coils was going but still not sure why 4 cylinders would throw a cel at the same time

Update.....

Most of the coils were cracked and/or rusty so am replacing all of them. Doing the plugs at the same time as they are about 5 years old

Thats one of the costs of getting to enjoy the car in all seasons!

Dont know - afraid to ask

His pricing is usually "OK" ie never the cheapest and never the most expensive (dealer)
