Those are good ideas. I keep the windows up but use a silica gel to keep humidity down, which you can buy at Lee Valley.
You will need a garaged pull if it to keep the humidity down and would need to replace it or dry it in the oven frequently to make any difference. The air is already dry in the winter so I'm not sure how much dryer you really want it to be.

A mouse snap trap, catches one before it has to be reset. The 5 gallon bucket, with a wheel in the middle works great.
If it is freezing in there, a little antifreeze with keep the mouse spa open for business.
If you are using antifreeze. Keep the trap covered if you have a dog. Dogs love to lick antifreeze and it will kill them too.
Inhumane? Perhaps. But I leave well written notices around the property in multiple languages. At mouse height.

You need to slather that can in peanut butter. THATS what attracts them. Works like a charm. ...best mouse trap ever.
i put stabil in mine .. but one year i forgot and it started and ran just fine 6 months later ... so i really dont know . i think its more for peace of mind than anything.
I put it in sleds and boats but never in lawn mower, chain saw etc and have never had a problem so I agree re peace of mind.
Just read last week that Esso and Shell 91 are Ethanol free, but Petro Canada isn't. Also, 94 definitely has Ethanol...I didn't know that!
Shell 91 is ethanol free at every station according to their website. Download PURE GAS app. it lists ethanol free stations everywhere. Pretty sure Esso has ethanol.
yeah i thought Esso had ethanol also ... if it doesnt say ethanol free at the pump im not using it..
didn't know about Costco though .. if it is in fact ethanol free you can bet its shell... costco does not have their own refinery
Most gas comes from the same place , each company adds their own detergents/additives etc. I've been using Esso 93 and PC 94 in my 991.2 for 3 years and its fine. No other option. Shell Ethanol free is 91.

Your car is too new to make any difference if it has moonshine in the gazoleene or not!
This is my 1st year as well storing my car for the winter. My routine so far after much reading is
-filling the tank with Shell 91 and stabilizer
-change the oil and inflate tires
-connect battery maintainer
-wash car inside and out
-cover car
I also purchased these car dollies from Princess Auto so I can move my car around my garage if I need to. I'm also considering covering my tailpipe and intakes as well.
Is it ok to plug a battery maintainer into the cigarette lighter as opposed to the actual battery?
Those dollies are a real PITA to move because the wheels have crappy bearings that create lot of friction and the casters are don't like to turn either. I have a set. Better off to wait until Canadian Tire has the hydraulic pump up ones on sale for $200. Those have proper wheels that are easy to move and turn. I've used both, don't waste your money on the PA ones.
