Default Powder Coating in Vaughan / Richmond Hill?

Anyone know of a place that can powder coat in the Vaughan or Richmond Hill area?

Need a set of wheels done... Looked a Quay in Brampton but his prices are high. $650 for a set of 4 wheels!

What type of job do you want? I dont know anything about Quay, but $650 for a set doesnt seem high to me.

I have used Carcone's before and been pleased with their results. I believe they paint the wheels, and then apply a powder coat clear, IIRC. Anyway, it wont be much cheaper. Probably about $500 plus tax at the lowest, depending on what options you want.

You could probably find cheaper, but I wouldnt want to.

Thanks for the feedback... I am looking for a good job / good quality. I will try give Carcones a call as they are not too far from me. I am just looking for a flat black finish, nothing to fancy.

i saw this add on kjiji and inquired (since they are in vaughn) close-ish to where i live.

i got quoted 550$ for refinish 4 17 " inch wheels... more inline with what i was expecting.

You can also try Northside Auto Sports, Nash the owner has a powder coating business for military supplies, so now does rims as well. Not used him or seen his work yet, but may be worth a chat 647-294-5910. He quoted me $300+hst if I am not mistaken.

Took a chance with Leprecon and really happy!

$440 for a set of 4 wheels, good quality and finish, friendly service (small shop not too much to look at but the owner, Max, cares and takes pride in his work which is better than a flashy shop with no pride in my book) and a 3 day turn around!

Couldn't be happier, will be going back and using them again. Recommended.

very nice PJR.
I just put my car to sleep for winter, so any time now the wheels are coming off. Will call leprecon for a quote.
Did he remove the tires or did you have to do it and just take him the rims?

My wheels were new in the box so no tires on them to remove. Ask for Max, super nice guy.

Nice!

I have the same wheels in 18x10.5 on my S6. I was thinking of doing them in flat black or dark grey. Can't wait to see some pics on the car.

Halo they look great on your car... it makes me more excited to get them on mine. I see you managed to get a hold of the 10.5's, not sure why but the 10.5's seem to be harder to find than the 10's. Go figure!

Also Enkie offer a hyper black right from the factory but only on the small sizes! whats with that? I asked them if they could offer black on the 10's to save me powder coating, they said no. $&%&*$*$ them!
