Hello Everyone, Just registered here and wanted to say hi. I am the proud owner of a black on black 1990 944 turbo. Car is basicly stock and I plan to leave it how it is. I am hoping to do lot of reading and learn more about these cars as my knowladge about these cars is basicly nothing right now.

I know that there was a very limited number of 1990 944 turbo's that made there way into canada I believe there was only 47, I was wondering how I would find out what # this car would be? and how many are still floating around.

Also what would be a value for a car like this.

That's a beautiful car. I've never seen a '90 in person.

One update that is well worth making (apart from belts, which age out at around 4 years, regardless of mileage) is the engine bay fuel lines (2) and fuel rail jumper hose. They're right on top of the engine, and the considerable heat they are exposed to tends to make the rubber brittle.

Congrats. car looks nice. I have seen a few 90 951s. value is very subjective to mileage, condition, original paint etc...
there is a register for turbo S but yours does not appear to be an S.
btw those wheels (cup 1's)are not stock, looks like you have tint as well.
enjoy.

I didnt think there was a Turbo S in 1990 they were all just Turbo.

Yes the car does have a few things done, Lowered, Coil overs, Wheels, (Have the stock) Guru chip and a boost enhancer, 3 bar FPR,

also have a porsche roof rack and bra for the car.

The S designation was dropped in '89 -- an '88 Turbo S is the same as an '89 Turbo (bigger turbo, brakes, sway bars).

Very cool! Those are extremely scarce. I tried for two years to buy one and failed.

Very nice and it'll last you a lifetime since you'll only be able to drive it 3 months a year!...originally from Calgary, that relatively balmy city to the south.
