As much as I'm not a leafs fan, at least they looked like they belonged in the playoffs. Wish I could say that about Montreal. As for my team, Vancouver, well, they looked like they'd already booked their tee times for this week...

Gave up on hockey after the 1972 Canada-Russia series as the games afterwards were boring. That and the owners are constantly raising prices on tickets etc. I won't support multi millionaire players and owners.

So it turns out that astronaut Chris Hadfield is a big Leafs fan, and was pretty upset about the loss. After he returned to Earth in the Soyuz spacecraft, he said: "We both went down in flames on the same day." 
He wore a Leafs T shirt under his spacesuit.
