Only the Leafs could blow a 4-1 lead in a game 7....

I'd love to see any Canadian team go all the way, even the Leafs, but I just can't see it happening any time soon. The Leafs won't do well until the fans finally start waking up and forcing the ownership to make it happen.

In all fairness its a very young team. They were not expected to make it this far for at least couple more years.

They must have seen Sergio Garcia choke on the course Sunday.

I used to play competitive squash, and noticed that some players need to have their backs against the wall before they really get going. I think that's what we saw last night.

It's interesting how a number of the lower seeded teams are giving the higher seeded teams a really tough time, or beating them.

As Eric Duhatschek says: "...expect the unexpected."

+1, however this will never happen because Torontonians love Maple Leafs (and drinking beer) more than they love hockey.

That last 10 min of the 3rd period was like looking at a different team. Losing battles for the puck, not skating hard. Was no surprise to me with the way they played that Boston tied it.

In overtime they came out with a bit of **** and vinegar but it was short lived. I knew it was over well before the goal was scored. You can't loaf about in sudden death OT.

But overall they played well in the series and gave us at least one round of playoff play!

A leafs' Stanley Cup is like Halley's Comet...some people see it in their lifetime, but a couple of generations pass before it shows up again.

What do you get when you mix the Leafs and Ground hog day?

Six more weeks of bad hockey.

That has to go down as one of the most spectacular chokes in sporting history. Two goals in 90 seconds. Just unbelievable.

how many games did Montreal win in the playoffs? 1
Leafs 3
and how did your goalie play? Price is looking great for next year. At least we pushed around and almost beat probably the toughest team in the league Boston. And our goalie played great, never got pulled in postseason.

I am glad that you could not be happier.

There's always next time.
But unlike the habs, they took it to game 7 when down 3-1 in the series.
