Hi guys,

So I just got my 944 turbo up to Montreal from NY and I got some bad news on the provincial inspection. The control arm on the passenger side (I think - wheel has some play when pushed at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions - taking it to a garage for final diagnosis) needs replacing. Had a look on Pelican and wow - those things are not cheap.

I am going to be tracking this car so I don't think I should try to rebuild them - thoughts? Where can I get the best price for a set? I should probably do both at the same time, right?

Also, has anyone got the Blaszak Precision control arms?

I got a set freshly rebuilt with no track time...$500
The only issues with the original arms is if you run big stabilizer bars and drop the car below the 12 or 12.5" bulletin recommended ride height.

 

Marcus Blaszak did a set for me several years ago. I was happy with his work.

 

and Markus is right there in Kingston .

 

If it helps, I have the stock control arms off the 968 available.
