'78 Civic - all 1237 cc and 50 hp of it!
My first car....was my aunt's previously. Had 78,000 km on it.
Pic taken my 3rd year at UWO (circa 1994) after a connecting rod broke and punched a loonie sized hole in the block. Nothing like oil spraying on the windshield to tell you a tow truck is in your near future.
Bought a engine from a wreckers for $150 and replaced in the driveway. One of my roommates and I lifted the engine out of the car with a barbell and some fan belts. He bet me a tank of gas it would never run again. He lost!

Race Car
Wish I could contribute, but my 911 was the first car I ever actually bought, registered in my own name. In high school I drove my parents' cars (couldn't afford insurance for my own), and in university took the bike/bus/metro, then after that I've always had cars through work.
I learned to drive on a blue-with-wood-stripe 2nd gen Dodge Caravan. Turbo engine. Drove the snot out of that thing. It was great for "parking" too My mom had a 1987 300ZX that I burned the clutch out on. Horrible car - weighed as much as the tanks Greg was posting pics of above.
