Cheap (ish) 996 GT2s

guess its a relative statement
FWIW, I find it easier to drive 911's fast than 944's and other FR layout cars...

Congrats on a very nice car.
Thanks for the information between the gt2 and turbo.
Help you a bit with you sale. Just though it was a very good buy.
Enjoy the track. I'm missing it and don't want to track mine. I rather have a slower track car with cage, rwd and go flat out.

I agree that a cheap trackcar is always the most fun as you don't really have to care if the worst happens...flat out is my name

Hey Steve,
The 930 buyer is having a final look/test drive likely today, once confirmed, the transaction will happen next week when weather and schedules are good.
Cheers,

miss the 930 for sentimental reasons but probably only had 3 tanks of fuel put through it in last 2 years, just wasn't getting used unfortunately, new owner is ecstatic about it and couldn't have been a better buyer, flawless transaction overall, can't recommend Brent at GTA Motorcars enough as well-true car guy and great to deal with..... way more excited to own the GT2 and has all the driving character of the 930 with more modern performance, did I mention this thing is FAST?!

Hey Steve,
Thanks man!
that sounds great, will probably have it 'ready' by next week, all cleaned up and fluids changed, checked over etc...
Will have to get something set up soon
Cheers,

Awesome! 6 GT2 is next on my list.
(Front that camera viewpoint GT2 looks smaller than 930.)

Thanks! It has FAR exceeded what I was expecting, driven and been in many fast and 'exotic' cars, but by far takes the cake...couldn't believe how quick it was when it first drove it, on way home when I picked it up noticed it was hitting 1.1-1.2bar(has a tune), seller advertised as intake and exhaust-missed/didn't know about the tune
the 930 was definitely the smaller car, although more upright, I'll post some more pics when Rennlist uploader works right again...
