Default Newbie here....Pfaff or Downtown Porsche?

Hi all. Just joined this forum earlier today. I'm obviously a car fan and I'm in a position now in my life to consider buying a Porsche. I love tracking at Mosport and Shannonville, as I go on average 3-5 times per year in the summer for the last 5-6 years. I may have seen some of you at 6th Gear events. I currently have a manual transmission 135i and a C55 AMG in my stable. The 135i sees the most track duty, but I do bring the C55 out once a year to give her some "exercise" too.

I'm interestred in the 991 C2S spec'ed with all the performance features/PDK/aerokit or the 991 GT3......(the price of the C2S spec'd to my liking is almost exactly the same as the base price of the GT3). I'm not interested in the luxury features or other cosmetic options. Obviously, this car will be tracked a few times per year and serve as a weekend fun car.

This is the first time I am shopping for a Porsche. Do people have any advice about which dealership is better? I live in Toronto and can go to either Downtown Porsche or Pfaff north of the city. Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

Thanks

I got my car at Pfaff but didn't love the experience there. I now service at DFC and find them great.

I had a great experience with my first Porsche purchase at DFC. Ask for JP. Not pushy and know the cars inside and out.

Bought 2 cars from Downtown and one from Pfaff. Great experience with both. Both my sales guys from Downtown are at Pfaff now though. I would shop both and see where you get the best price.

Great experience with DFC though I have never dealt with Pfaff,so no negative conclusions about them.

The only question is whether you want to wait for some reviews of the 991 GT3 before deciding since it has not been released to the journo community yet.

I purchased my Panamera at PFAFF and was a treated top notch, as well when it has gone in for oil change or other service was treated better than expected.
