Palm - I can equate. A new P-car is like mastering a new musical instrument. It doesn't feel right at first - just like wearing your dad's underwear (that's a joke BTW). I want to learn to coax out awesome and I'm at functional right now.

Having the desire to improve is half the battle. Most drivers are blissfully unaware how badly they suck.

 

You can drive stick for 40 years on tractors never having to h&t or rev match. Any modern Porsche manual is going to feel like a racing car. They are so much easier to drive and speed shift. It's a learning curve and a pleasure to drive unlike the old tractor gear boxes from yester year.
