Adam, my brother wants to get his 3 piece HRE for his 996 done by carcones..... i think he has to go the paint route.

They quoted way more than that to him. I beleive his cost included removing and balancing the tires again.

Sounds like you got a great deal on the refinishing of your wheels.

Maybe we can get a group buy..... I am in as well for powder coating mine.

I was looking into wheel painting a few months ago but I wasn't aware of Westex Coatings. They are located a few minutes from my office so I may be able to check them out this week.

I also contacted Wheel Wizards in Cambridge and Carcones and was impressed with both. Wheel Wizards actually talked me out of the work because they thought it was a good idea to double check that I could get the tires I needed before committing to the wheels. And they couldn't get the tires.

I've started refinishing my Sport Techno's myself since I want a polished aluminum finish. Finished 1 so far but it is a pile of work
