Default Anyone in Halifax that can look at a car for me?

Anyone in Halifax that can look at a car for me? Or recommend a service for a quick, on-site inspection? I was referred to Burt Page at Euroworks but can't seem to get him on the line. I don't need a PPI, I'm more just looking for someone who can stop by the dealer and tell me if the car is as it's being described.

Thanks in advance.

What type of car is it. Which dealership is it at? Have had bad experience at Eurowerks.

It's a 1983 911sc. Not looking for a PPI or anything remotely similar. Just trying to find someone who can swing by and give me their impression of the car. It's a low-mileage vehicle and I'm fairly confidant in the car but a once-over would be helpful.

The car is at Griffin Motors on Kempt Road.

I'm not remotely close but that certainly looks like something to followup on.

My sister and her husband are 5 min away from that dealer - what are you looking for? They are young newly weds in their early 20s and probably not something they would do unless I bribe them Do you have a checklist of some sort?

Interesting dealership - they even have a '89 E30 M3...
Good luck!

I could certainly put one together but I'm more looking for someone who can look at the car and say, yeah, this looks like 41k-mile car (or thereabouts).

I can always hire a service but I was hoping to find a fellow enthusiast who at least knew a little bit about our cars. I'm certainly open to appropriate bribes, in any case.

Just finished "perusing" your garage - WOW!
Can't wait to see what the M3 looks like when it's done - yeah, looked pretty darn nice to begin with.
Oh, you Lancia Scorpion links to the Ford 250...
Cheers!

Contacting a independent and asking them to swing by and check a car for you and saying you dont need. A ppi, not surprised they wont talk to you . They are a business.

Just get the young couple to take any pics you want and send them a gift certificate for dinner.

Are you trying to be helpful? Because, all due respect (not literally), that's a little bit of an idiotic comment.

I simply left them two voicemails saying that I was a collector and that I was referred to them for assistance on a car I was considering buying in Halifax. I would have been happy to pay them whatever they want (now I'm being literal).
