Anyone here think we need a Canadian Off Topic Thread?
In light of the last few months of rather interesting non Porsche topics who thinks we need a Canadian Off Topic section?

Yes.
But while I have you here Al, and this is on topic, so sorry,
Of the 993, 996tt and 996 C4S do you have a favorite, and regrets selling any?
Sorry back off topic now, hockey and teachers, go!

I thought the Rennlist Canada forum was an OT forum for airing the Canadian point of view.
IMO The main OT forum is a dark place with the rep to match do we really need a Canadian version, even with all good intentions.... .

I'm happy enough discussing the Canadian perspective OT topics here - as long as Bob doesn't move them!! That said these things shouldn't become the majority of topics in the Canadian section - should remain primarily car based!!
That said it is winter in Canada and all the bike and car forums get loopy when the cars/bikes aren't on the road!!

Folks,
A lot of OT is tolerated in this forum simply because it is a community and we often want to chat about things other than cars with our friends. As long as we avoid serious controversy, things will be just fine.

No, there is already so little activity, why split it even more, the canadian section is already somewhat of an off topic any way, doesn't bother me that some topics are Porsche related and others not.

so my OT question so I am clear on the proper manners addressing OT topics in a car forum.. does the extra "!" add an echo on the word before the first "!" or do we scream the words louder??
