I do not have additional track specific insurance and car insurance, I do however only have car insurance, and an incident at the track is covered under that policy.
However they also want your house insurance as well, as part of the package.

You can insure anything ...for a price of course. If track-day insurance is not offered in Canada it must be because it's already covered by our regular policies and not because there's no market for it. Just my humble opinion.

Unfortunately this case was in Ontario and the Ontario Supreme Court. BC Courts for example do not have to follow that decision. Nor do any other provincial supreme courts.

Yes ,you can get track/race car insurance on track, can't remember details, although, 5K deductilbe, tires and wheels not covered, any car you own but must tell them which one, which day, 5K/10K cost for a year. Can get details later.
