It's the only car I'd trade my 930 for - 1437 produced and the last of the real mens turbos. Drive it, take good care of it, and the value will only go up.
If you pass on it please send me a pm telling me where it is..

Deposit given 964T 3.6
For the guys not familiar with this car...it is a 1994 3.6 T - which is a 964 turbo with 3.6 litre motor with Speedline wheels, suspension, sport seats, heated seats - . Only made 1 year and very limited numbers. Pretty special little car (as they all are of course) but this is the only Canadian 964 T 3.6 that I have ever seen in Canada. I have heard only 3 brought to Canada but that was pure sepculation as i simply don't know. Anyone else know of anyone on the board having one of these?

Three Wheelin'
I love the 993TT but if it's the 3.6, hard decision. That car is one of a kind. Maybe get a PPI done on both and see how they fair. Either one will be fun at the end of the day.

UPDATE - agree on price yesterday 964 3.6 - vendor changes his price today - called him on it - agrees to sell it at the price we agreed - get straight forward terms sorted out - now sends me an e mail - "doesn't like new turbo doesn't want to proceed" - when of course he was buying a helicopter before and not another car. Flake. I hate buying cars. There is something to be said about buying within the Rennlist group only.

He was getting it certified so I could pick it up the next day and he texted me saying the car he was buying fell through so he's keeping the car.
Yes I'm still bitter.

Sorry to hea the deal didn't work out, however if you're still debating between the two models, I'll share my experiences between my 3.3 Turbo and my 993 Turbo.
If you're going to be driving the car more than once a week, the 993 Turbo is hands down the better choice. The Achilles heel of the 964 Turbos is the CIS injection. The manual fuel injection is a nightmare with the variability that a turbocharger adds to the fueling requirements.
The 964 will hold its value better, but quite frankly, the 993's are still trading at the same price as five years ago for clean cars. If you do a search on rennlist, I did a full comparison review between the two models.

Sorry to hear.
Try selling your house, firm, to the first showing, then they get cold feet and refused to bring the deposit in!
I wish everyone stuck to their word and deals could be done by handshake.
