My dad just picked up an 02 C2 with 15k miles with an ims failure for $8,500. Is that within going rate and is porsche REALLY helping the owners at all? We plan to do the repair/swap ourselves. Also the car was shut off within 15-20 seconds of failure. Where am I really at? Opinions?
