Sorry that I came across harsh. Drivers that learn to drive, when they are in their thirties, generally never get confotable or good at it. In Brampton this is usually among the East Indian population and in Vancouver the Chineese population has this problem. It has nothing to do with race but everything tp do with the economics of the country they are from. Back home they didn't have the means to have a car or a driver's licence. However here, a car is a must and the an average worker can afford one. So when you never driven a car untill you are older, learning and mastering it, just like any other skill, won't be as natural as if you are a teenager.

I think we all know the primary reason is that historically the under-25 age group is more prone to accidents due to their lack of experience.
If it was simply suggested that the lack of driving experience of new immigrants to Canada is a factor affecting their driving skills when they initially obtained their driver's license, then I would have to agreed with that; however when particular ethnic groups are specifically singled out and generalized, with Vancouver coined as "Vankong", then those comments ARE based on race.
And OP, I want to apologize for the off-course excursion your thread has taken, hopefully we'll be back on-topic again.

So what you are saying is that ethnic stereotyping is acceptable and cool but speaking out against it is offensive???
Nice !!!!!

YES! I forgot about Auguste. I've only been there once, but his work was excellent and prices very fair. I needed some emergency carb work on a Saturday before a track day. He squeezed me in and spent a few hours working on them.

I also forgot to mention Auguste, I was looking at buying a 928 last summer before getting the 996, one person in Stoney Creek area had a stack of repair bills from Auguste for his 928 including timing belt and water pump change etc., so likely a competent in 928 repairs.

Absolutely not.
What I'm tired of is everyone taking maximum offense at the sllightest perceived hint of anything that they don't personally like, which is most everything to most people these days.
Back to the topic at hand...
