To clear the impaired over 80 ...
253a - impaired operation, this can be by alcohol or drug
253b - having a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 mg in 100 ml of blood

253a is the weaving, crossing centre line, varying speed(slow then speeding up) among other things
253b - is a number - think ride program. Odour of alcoholic beverage on breath, then fail a roadside test. Intox loser gives a number to the fail. ie 0.08 or higher

So people can be impaired without being over 80 and you can be over legal limit of 0.08 without being impaired. Or be both

Hope that helps

Can a skateboard kill a passenger? Or a bystander? Less likely.

Anything can kill anyone. Point is that motor vehicles are potentially lethal and we really should do more to keep our kids safer. Our government is quite happy to collect our taxes, but until we want change (and work for it) nothing will change.

I actually completely agree with you. I shouldn't have challenged your point, but I just love an argument

I'm sick of the mentality that more rules and more signs and more straightened roads are the best way to save lives. We need to put a priority on driver skill. But this is too difficult to sell to the public and puts accountability back on the public, instead of the Minister of Transportation (who we can 'fire').

It looks like a sad day because the end results will most likely be similar to the attached link.

Does the name Oliver Karafa ring a bell?

"The 19-year-old Mr. Karafa, who reportedly works as a model for Abercrombie and Fitch, is charged with criminal negligence causing death, impaired driving causing death and dangerous driving causing death."

It's ZOOLANDER!
