Not really. We usually meet at 10, drive until lunch, then split up and head home. It's certainly not a marathon drive. Coming from Cambridge, expect to be gone from 8:30/9 until 2ish.

Any chance we can meet at the Tim horton's stop on Ontario street exit? The 50 truck stop parking lot is muddy and an ugly/uninspired backdrop for pics.. Juss sayin'

1 exit past 50 (towards Niagara) is Casablanca exit and an info center at 424 South Service road. There is plenty of paved parking, a Timmies, a gas station, clean washrooms, and a better backdrop (escarpment) for photos.
Let's also make sure there is a further additional washroom break somewhere along the route for both men and women, otherwise I recommend the "Depends" under clothing option. A winery is not a bad idea for this sort of dual purpose stop over (I think a few years ago we also did an ice cream stop)

I think that a stop at a winery is a very good idea. This should be arranged with the owner/management. Would make for a great photo shot.
