2 - Submitted my last MBA paper this morning!!!!! I'm finally done!!!!! I can finally get started on those 20 little projects that have been pending on my car... !!!!!!!!!!!!
I know how you feel, I submitted my final MBA paper 1 month ago and it feels heavenly.
You can now sleep in as much as you want, surf the web and Facebook as much as you want, watch as much pointless TV as much as you want, and all without a single ounce of guilt, you've earned it!!
Congrats. Now you will feel like you have a lot of extra time, and it will take a while to not feel guilty enjoying it, like you should be doing some schoolwork!
Congratulations to both of you on completing the programs. Enjoy the new-found free time.
Speaking of CT, they've just released a new product that I find to be exciting. They finally have a battery-powered tool system that includes a 1/2" drive impact driver. I got their older driver last year, but also need a new drill, so will look into this.
For what it's worth,i had the same CDN Tire jack up at Mont Tremblant last week and it wouldn't lift my car anymore to change my wheels ... i bought two of those about 3-4 months ago ...
Maybe it was because it was really hot at the track on Monday, but as soon as i find my bill i'm going to exchange the defective one !
Wait for the "Black Jack" to go on sale at Costco! I picked mine up for 1/2 price
in November last year. It's really heavy duty, low profile and hasn't let me down.
Not that I need a third jack! I already have a steel 1.5 ton Cdn Tire steel jack from at least 15 years ago which still works fine and fits under the Porsche, and a hefty/HEAVY 2.5 ton Michelin brand steel jack with long reach for my DD but does not fit under the Porsche without a 2x10 lumber under the rear tire first.
Some other options across the border which are pretty much all the same are:
And look who has this on sale?? Harborfreight Pittsburg brand http://www.harborfreight.com/rapid-p...html-7814.html US$90, the warranty is a bit scary at 90 days only though....., although that seems to be the norm for all jacks sold at Harborfreight. BTW Harborfreight is as dangerous a place to walk into as Princess Auto, you just want to buy more tools because the prices are so reasnoable!! This is speaking from personal experience.
