Default DE car numbers

I know this is a silly question but havent seen it asked or answered anywhere. Do they supply the car numbers at the UCR DE at Mosport or do i need some painters tape?

Thanks

do they assign the number in advance, or only when you are there ?

Normally they would assign you a number when you register your car for an event, then your car keeps the same number for all other events you plan to attend !
Anyways, that's how the PCA chapters do it ...

Cheers !

Personally, I prefer the blue painters tape...a bit more subtle
See you tomorrow....

Magnets with tape work well on the doors. You can have a set made up for about $50. See you there tomorrow.

I've seen guys having to tape their magnets to the car because they couldn't handle the high speed. I thought it odd, but just telling you what I've seen.

Saw that this weekend at the DE - a bit odd to have to tape on numbers after you spent the money on the magnets.

I used the tape and it worked fine

The magnets often loosen up a little with use and if the leading edge catches the breeze - woosh ... it's gone. After I lost one once, I always put a little tape on the leading edge. Now I just use vinyl numbers on the side window.

I get mine from a local lady who makes signs for a living and is a member of PCA. I think just about anyone who makes graphic signs should have ability to make some vinyl numbers.

I just printed out my number on 11x7 and then got it laminated at office depot for less then $2.

I tape it on the window with electrical tape.
