Default Question on PDK

Hello All,

I am close to picking up a low KM 2009 C4S. As a concession to my wife, I have agreed to forego a third pedal and am therefore going with the PDK. I have read mixed reviews on this iterration of the transmission. Can anyone here enlighten me on their personal experience with it? I'm going for a test drive tomorrow to see for myself but am curious as to other views.

Also, the car I am looking at is at Pfaff. Does anyone have experience negotiating with them on price? If so, your experience with this would also be appreciated. Thanks.

B.

Just finished driving a 2012 991S with PDK in Germany and Austria for 5 days - you'll freaking love it! You feel like your driving a DTM racer! Pictures in another post later.

The first pdk is great. I didn't have any issue with it other than boredom.

You'll love it, makes the car a true family car. Where everyone in the family can enjoy driving it.

Thanks to everyone for the replies. Pulled the trigger today and picking up the car on Saturday. Super excited (coming from a comparatively tame 335i).

Picked up the car yesterday. Haven't had a chance to do much driving, other than to and from work and picking up my son from t-ball (he likes the back seat). And now I'm off to Sedona until Sunday so won't get to drive it for another few days. I told my wife maybe we should postpone our trip... She didn't find that amusing.
