I have H&R Springs on my 997 Turbo and I love them. A little bit more bouncy in regular mode (barely different than stock IMO) but in Sport mode it's simply fantastic, WAY better than stock Sport mode.
The look with the 1" drop is amazing, perfect drop for a 911:

i had h&r on my 996 turbo and HATED them. They made the car look really good with a perfect drop but the stock shocks were not strong enough, in a fast corner (not even on a track) the car would feel dangerous, front of the car was extremely bouncy. I felt it completly downgraded the stock suspension. Changed to PSS10 which were a million times better for the street. I would get H&R springs only if you drive very slowly in the street or only do some downtown driving but don't take a curve at 100 km/h or more on a bad road...
By the way, had H&R springs on my rx-7 and nsx and had some eibach on viper and they all felt very nice and loved them but on the porsche, damn it was bad.
